Tour de Yorkshire Is Confirmed

On the back of the successful Grand Depart, a major new international cycle race for Yorkshire has been confirmed. The provisionally titled “Tour de Yorkshire” is backed by British Cycling and has been officially added to the world cycling calendar for 2015.

The format will comprise three full stages taking place over three days, with talks currently underway to secure worldwide coverage of the race, showcasing once again the beauty of Yorkshire’s landscapes.

Following the international interest in the Tour de France, the Tour de Yorkshire will surely prove a fitting legacy.
